Capabilities

From basic tools to a state of the art $30,000 laser welder, no expense has been spared to provide the best equipment for almost any repair job.  Our plating facility utilizes computer controlled equipment to maintain the solutions at temperature within 1 degree of digital accuracy.  We use vacuum casting rather than older centrifugal technology.  And the laser can weld materials heretofore considered impossible.  All of this points to our commitment to provide the best repair services possible.

Ring sizings are done with alloys specially formulated for fabrication rather than recast gold scrap.  We only use cadmium free plumb solders from Hoover and Strong.  Replacement gemstones are matched to the originals for color and clarity and expertly set, correcting the problem that caused the original loss of the stone.  Victoria's Gold & Gems subscribes to and works to the Jewelers of America Standards of Excellence that define the best practices in jewelry fabrication and repair.  We are also able to repair most costume jewelry and eyeglasses.

All jewelry repairs as well as watch batteries, pins, gaskets, straps and band adjustments are done on premises by our skilled jewelers.  Other watch repairs are done in a horological trade shop certified in all watch makes and types.  We take pride in completing most repairs in one week or less.  We also have an express service for those repairs that  need to be done within 24 hours.
